Remembering Conner
Our prime reason for celebrating this special Christmas at Massanutten was to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the life of Conner Worosz. A picture of Conner sat on the fireplace mantel, smiling and watching over us. We all missed him so.......we remembered times from his childhood all through his high school years. We openly talked of our personal memories....smiling sometimes, laughing sometimes and crying a bit. During our short stay, Greg, who is studying for the ministry, led us in prayer. One evening we took "flying lanterns"monogramed with our own personal message to Conner, lit the paraffin ignitor and watched as the lanterns rose skyward ....some were trapped in tree branches while others were able to rise into the darkened sky carrying their messages; heaven bound. We will never forget you...our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin....may God welcome you with open arms.
